Authenticated stored XSS via SVG hotlinks
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
Stored XSS in Forceu Gokapi before 2.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through an SVG hotlink. The hotlinking functionality serves uploaded SVG files without neutralizing embedded scripts, causing a browser that follows the link to run attacker-controlled JavaScript. An attacker must have upload and hotlink permissions, and exploitation requires another user to open the link; the script can read or modify data in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
