Cloud metadata disclosure via manual asset import
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Ghostfolio before 2.245.0 allows remote attackers to read cloud metadata and probe internal services. The manual asset import path fetches an attacker-supplied resource and returns its body without restricting internal or link-local destinations. Public signup exposes the path when enabled, and the resulting access is bounded by data returned from the targeted metadata or internal service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
