Authenticated RCE via auto-executed plugin upload
Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in xiaoheiFS 0.3.15 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the admin API. AdminPaymentPluginUpload accepts any file after checking a hardcoded password, writes it under plugins/payment, and StartWatcher passes new executables to exec.Command every five seconds. Administrator access and the embedded upload password are required; execution occurs with the xiaoheiFS service's operating-system privileges.
