CVE-2026-2863Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file deletion via backslash path traversal

Published Feb 21, 2026 · Updated Feb 21, 2026

Path traversal in MegaGao production_ssm allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files through /file/delete. FileController removes only forward-slash path segments from fileName, after which FileServiceImpl.deleteFile resolves backslash traversal sequences against the upload directory and deletes the resulting file. A valid low-privilege session is required; deletion is limited to files writable by the server process and can corrupt application data or interrupt service.
