CVE-2026-2861Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated data disclosure via missing view checks

Published Feb 21, 2026 · Updated Feb 21, 2026

Improper access control in Foswiki 2.1.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose protected wiki data via crafted endpoint URLs. The oops and preview endpoints accept arbitrary template parameters without view checks, Changes omits a topic view check, and Viewfile tests attachment existence before authorization. No authentication is required; the endpoints reveal private page data or confirm protected attachment names, without reported write or service-interruption impact.
