Unauthenticated credential disclosure via ORDER BY injection
Published Feb 28, 2026 · Updated Feb 28, 2026
SQL injection in gVectors Team wpForo Forum before 2.4.15 allows remote attackers to extract WordPress database credentials. Topics::get_topics() places the attacker-controlled wpfob value into an ORDER BY clause after esc_sql(), which does not neutralize unquoted SQL expressions. No authentication or user interaction is required; crafted CASE WHEN expressions provide a blind boolean oracle for credential extraction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
