CVE-2026-28517Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary command execution via unvalidated dot path

Published Feb 27, 2026 · Updated Feb 27, 2026

OS command injection in openDCIM 23.04 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands through the network map report. report_network_map.php reads the fac_Config.dot executable path from the database and passes it to exec() without validation or sanitization. Exploitation requires control of that configuration value; a public chain obtains it through separate authorization and SQL injection flaws, then runs commands as the web server process.
