Account access via request-controlled MFA secret

Authentication bypass in eLabFTW 5.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to access accounts without the configured additional factor. LoginController's MFA branch constructed MfaHelper with the session secret or, when absent, the request's mfa_secret value, allowing validation against an attacker-supplied secret. Valid primary credentials and the affected login state are required; exploitation grants the target account's data access and modification privileges without interrupting the service.
