Authenticated command execution via approval-field injection
Published Mar 5, 2026 · Updated Mar 5, 2026
Command execution in OpenClaw before 2026.2.14 allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary commands on connected node hosts. The gateway forwards user-controlled node.invoke parameters without stripping approved or approvalDecision, so system.run skips node-host approval. Valid gateway credentials and a connected node that supports system.run are required, exposing developer workstations, CI runners, or servers to full host compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
