CVE-2026-28456Network attack vector

Code execution via unconstrained hook module paths

Published Mar 5, 2026 · Updated Mar 5, 2026

Code execution in OpenClaw Gateway 2026.1.5 through 2026.2.13 allows remote authenticated users to execute local modules. Gateway hook mappings pass insufficiently constrained transform and internal-handler module paths to dynamic import(), accepting absolute or traversal paths outside their intended directories. Gateway configuration modification access, which the vendor treats as high privilege, is required; executed modules run in the Gateway Node.js process.
