Stored XSS via unsanitized rating icon SVG
Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026
Stored XSS in Typebot 3.15.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when a victim previews a crafted bot. The RatingButton component passes the user-controlled customIcon.svg string to Solid's innerHTML directive without sanitization, so rating blocks evade the import sanitizer's isUnsafe flag and execute in the builder origin. A victim must import the crafted bot or share a workspace with an editor and then preview it, exposing the victim's authenticated builder session to token theft and unauthorized workspace actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
