Arbitrary file overwrite in Docker Model Runner before 1.0.16 allows attackers to overwrite process-accessible files via its API. The unauthenticated POST /engines/_configure handler forwards attacker-supplied runtime flags to llama.cpp, where --log-file opens the selected path for logging. Network access to the API is required; a default Docker Desktop container can reach it and overwrite Docker.raw, destroying local Docker data, while container escape additionally requires specific configurations and user interaction.
