CVE-2026-28395Network attack vector

Off-host relay exposure via wildcard host misclassification

Published Mar 5, 2026 · Updated Mar 5, 2026

Improper network binding in OpenClaw 2026.1.14-1 through 2026.2.11 allows remote attackers to reach relay HTTP endpoints off-host. ensureChromeExtensionRelayServer classifies the wildcard hosts 0.0.0.0 and :: as loopback and uses the resulting cdpUrl host to bind its HTTP/WS listener. The Chrome extension must be installed and enabled and cdpUrl must use a wildcard; exposure reveals relay presence and port data and permits denial-of-service or token brute-force traffic.
