Application crash via absent CMS algorithm parameters

NULL pointer dereference in CMS processing in OpenSSL allows remote attackers to crash applications via crafted EnvelopedData messages. The CMS KeyAgreeRecipientInfo path examines the optional KeyEncryptionAlgorithmIdentifier parameters field without confirming that it is present, then dereferences a NULL pointer when the field is absent. Exposure requires an application or service to pass untrusted CMS input to CMS_decrypt(); the result is an application crash, while the listed FIPS modules remain unaffected.
