Authenticated service crash via unbounded Live request body
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Denial of service in Grafana OSS affected releases allows remote authenticated users to crash the server via the Live push API. The Live push handler accepts a large or streaming HTTP request body without a size bound and allocates memory as that body arrives. Access to the authenticated Grafana Live API is required; sustained allocation exhausts process memory and terminates the Grafana service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
