Email enumeration via password-reset response discrepancy
Published Mar 2, 2026 · Updated Mar 2, 2026
Observable response discrepancy in NocoDB before 0.301.3 allows remote attackers to enumerate registered email addresses without authentication. The POST /api/v2/auth/password/forgot endpoint returns success for registered addresses but an explicit registration error for unknown addresses. A single unauthenticated network request exposes account existence only; credentials and stored data remain undisclosed.
