Stored script execution via unsanitized query rendering
Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Stored XSS in JMP Sec osctrl before 0.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through saved on-demand queries. The osctrl-admin query list builds DataTables cells from stored query text by string concatenation without HTML escaping, so browsers interpret injected markup as script. Query-level access is sufficient, but execution requires another user to open the list; an administrator's session can expose CSRF tokens and privileged actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
