Browser script execution via stored configuration input
Published Feb 27, 2026 · Updated Feb 27, 2026
Stored XSS in Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway before 9.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in other users' browsers. A configuration interface stores administrator-supplied script content without neutralizing it and renders that content in the affected user interface. Administrator privileges are required to plant the payload, and another user's interaction triggers browser-side execution that can read or alter data in that user's security context.
