CVE-2026-28261

Account secret exposure via sensitive log entries

Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Sensitive log exposure in Dell ECS 3.8.1.0 through 3.8.1.7 and ObjectScale before 4.1.0.3 or 4.2.0.0 allows local users to read secrets. The products write sensitive account information into an unspecified log file; Dell has not identified the logging component or triggering operation. Low-privileged local access is required, and an exposed secret grants the privileges of its compromised account.
