Unauthenticated information disclosure via unprotected API routes
Published Mar 12, 2026 · Updated Mar 12, 2026
Missing authorization in Trane Tracer SC, Tracer SC+, and Tracer Concierge allows remote attackers to read sensitive data via web APIs. Multiple routes omit authentication before returning cloud status, complete BACnet reports, and cached GUI assets such as floor plans. Network access to the controller web server is sufficient, exposing device details and information about connected building systems.
