Authenticated command execution via unvalidated ping destination
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Command injection in COMFAST CF-E7 2.6.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through its web interface. In webmggnt sub_441CF4, the destination value from the ping_config request is concatenated with sprintf and passed to system without validation. Access requires a valid management-session cookie, and successful injection runs commands with the web-management process's device privileges.
