Cross-library file tampering via missing policy scope
Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Authorization bypass in Manyfold before 0.133.1 allows remote authenticated users to modify or delete files in restricted model libraries. The ModelFilesController get_model method resolves an attacker-controlled model_id with Model.find_param instead of policy_scope(Model).find_param, so Pundit does not restrict the parent model to accessible records. Contributor access is enough to reach model-file endpoints and bulk-edit, delete, or trigger conversion of files outside the permitted library.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
