Privilege escalation via missing workflow authorization
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Missing authorization in RuoYi-Vue-Plus 5.5.0 through 5.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to delete workflow instances. SaServletFilter verifies only login status, while FlwInstanceController omits @SaCheckPermission on deleteByInstanceIds and accepts attacker-selected process-instance IDs. Any low-privileged account can therefore invoke the DELETE endpoint and remove an administrator-created process instance.
