Payment-status disclosure via missing order-key validation
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
IDOR in Mercado Pago payments for WooCommerce 8.9.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read another buyer's Pix payment status. The Pix payment-status polling handler relies on a nonce without also validating the WooCommerce order key that binds the request to its owner. The endpoint is network-reachable without authentication, and a successful request discloses only another buyer's payment status.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
