Stored script execution via unescaped User-Agent header
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Blog Floating Button 1.4.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The plugin stores the visitor User-Agent header from an unauthenticated tracking REST endpoint and renders it without sanitizing or escaping it in the access analytics report. Exploitation requires an administrator to open that report, where the payload executes with the administrator's WordPress session and can enable site takeover.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
