Unauthenticated RCE via dynamic QRL module loading
Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026
Unsafe deserialization in QwikDev Qwik before 1.19.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through server$ RPC requests. The server platform's importSymbol path turns an attacker-controlled QRL module URL into a require() path and returns the requested export without restricting it to registered symbols. Exploitation requires a server deployment where require() is available, and successful code runs with the Qwik service process's permissions.
