Horizontal privilege escalation via unchecked chat actions
Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Missing authorization in Live Helper Chat 4.52 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to act on chats outside assigned departments. The holdaction.php, blockuser.php, and transferchat.php endpoints load chat objects by ID without invoking erLhcoreClassChat::hasAccessToRead() to enforce department access. An operator must hold the corresponding holduse, allowblockusers, or allowtransfer permission; exploitation can hold or transfer out-of-department chats or block their users.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
