Use-after-free in Desktop Window Manager on affected Microsoft Windows releases allows local users with low privileges to elevate privileges. Microsoft has not disclosed the named code locus, freed object, or lifetime sequence that leaves Desktop Window Manager using released memory. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and no user interaction; success grants elevated privileges on the same system.
