Cross-site scripting via unescaped hydration comments

Cross-site scripting in Svelte 5.53.0 through 5.53.4 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through server-rendered errors. The server Renderer JSON-serializes transformError output directly into failed-boundary hydration comments without escaping angle brackets, so crafted comment delimiters break into HTML. Exploitation requires server-side error boundaries with transformError returning attacker-controlled content and a victim to load the resulting page.
