CVE-2026-27892Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated metadata disclosure via unsanitized image storage

Published May 18, 2026 · Updated May 18, 2026

Information disclosure in the FacturaScripts Library module before 2026 allows remote authenticated users to read image metadata. The upload handler stores images byte-for-byte without removing EXIF, XMP, or IPTC fields, and the download handler returns the unchanged files. Any account with Library download access can extract another uploader's GPS coordinates, device details, timestamps, comments, or thumbnails; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
