Unauthenticated server crash via unbounded request reads
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Denial of service in Grafana allows remote attackers to crash the server via unauthenticated OpenFeature validation requests. The feature flag validation endpoints accept unbounded request values and read the entire input into process memory without a size limit. No authentication is required; an oversized request can exhaust available memory and terminate the Grafana server without affecting stored data integrity or confidentiality.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=v12.1.0 <v12.1.10
- Affected versionversion=v12.2.0 <v12.2.8
- Affected versionversion=v12.3.0 <v12.3.6
