Internal data disclosure via unchecked redirect targets
Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026
SSRF in LangChain Community before 1.1.18 allows remote authenticated users to read internal data through RecursiveUrlLoader redirects. RecursiveUrlLoader validates only the initial public URL while fetch automatically follows each redirect without applying validateSafeUrl to the new destination. Exploitation requires an application to crawl attacker-influenced content and the loader to reach private-network, localhost, or metadata services.
