Incorrect authorization in Gitea 1.25.5 allows remote authenticated users to gain full repository write access through a multi-ref push. CanWriteCode() caches the first branch-specific CanMaintainerWriteToBranch result for the entire pre-receive session and reuses it after the branch name changes. Exploitation requires a victim-enabled maintainer-edit grant on one pull-request branch; the reused grant permits protected-branch overwrites, new branches, and tags in that repository.
