CVE-2026-27767Network attack vector

Unauthenticated charger impersonation via unchecked WebSocket identity

Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 27, 2026

Missing authentication in all versions of SWTCH Energy swtchenergy.com allows remote attackers to impersonate chargers over OCPP WebSockets. The endpoint accepts a known or discovered charging-station identifier without authenticating the connecting device, then treats the socket as that charger. Knowledge or discovery of an identifier is sufficient to issue or receive charger commands and corrupt charging-network data.
