Authenticated Docker API disclosure via path traversal
Published Feb 27, 2026 · Updated Feb 27, 2026
Path traversal in Beszel before 0.18.4 allows remote authenticated users to read Docker Engine API data from connected agent hosts. The hub's container info and logs endpoints forward the raw container query value, and the agent interpolates it into a Docker URL without path escaping, so ../ segments reach unintended endpoints. Any account, including a read-only role, can retrieve host, engine, container, image, network, storage, and security metadata when an agent exposes a Docker-compatible Unix socket.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
