Authenticated server code execution via unsafe eval
Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026
Code injection in Budibase Cloud before 3.30.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary JavaScript on the server. inMemoryView.ts concatenates a user-controlled view map function into an assignment string and passes it to eval() without sanitizing injected JavaScript syntax. Any authenticated cloud account can reach the path; self-hosted deployments use native CouchDB views, while successful execution exposes pod secrets and tenant database access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
