Internal service data disclosure via unvalidated watch URLs
Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026
SSRF in changedetection.io before 0.54.1 allows remote attackers to read internal service responses through crafted watch URLs. The is_safe_valid_url() function accepts URLs without resolving and rejecting private, loopback, or link-local addresses, and the fetcher stores returned content for web viewing. Network access to the web interface is sufficient when its default passwordless configuration remains in use; otherwise, authentication is required.
