CVE-2026-27695Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated request rejection via shared DynamoDB partition

Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026

Denial of service in ZeroAE zae-limiter before 0.10.1 allows remote authenticated users to disrupt rate-limited services. Each acquire() call writes every bucket for an entity under the same DynamoDB partition key, while cascade entities multiply writes without sharding, batching, or client-side admission control. Sustained high-rate traffic can exhaust per-partition write capacity, raising RateLimiterUnavailable after delay and rejecting requests while also throttling co-located entities.
