Unauthenticated application compromise via crafted RFC requests
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Memory corruption in the SAP Kernel allows remote attackers to compromise SAP NetWeaver and ABAP Platform via crafted RFC requests. The RFC protocol parser accepts malformed request data and triggers logical errors in kernel memory management, causing a stack-based buffer overflow. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can disclose or alter application data or interrupt service.
