Privilege escalation in Siemens RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW SAM-P before 5.8 allows remote authenticated users to access any device group. The group-administration authorization logic lets User Administrators manage groups to which their own accounts belong, including changing their effective access. A User Administrator account is required; exploitation grants that account any device-group access level and can affect data and service operation.
