Unauthenticated service crash via crafted XML parsing
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Siemens CPCI85 before 26.10 and SICORE before 26.10.0 allows remote attackers to crash services via crafted XML requests. The XML parser writes beyond an intended buffer while processing specially crafted XML input; Siemens has not disclosed a narrower function or field. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is a service crash without confidentiality or integrity impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
