Stored script execution via unvalidated report input
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
Stored XSS in the Reports module of ManageEngine Exchange Reporter Plus before 5802 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. The Permissions Based on Mailboxes report stores attacker-controlled report input and renders it without validation that neutralizes script content. Exploitation requires Exchange administrative privileges and a victim to open the affected report, after which the script acts with that victim's Exchange Reporter Plus privileges.
