Information disclosure via unvalidated SUPI path parameters
Published Feb 24, 2026 · Updated Feb 24, 2026
Improper input validation in free5GC UDM 1.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose system details via crafted SUPI values. The Nudm_UEAU POST handlers accept control characters in SUPI path parameters and pass them into an internal UDR URL, causing Go URL-parsing errors to surface instead of rejecting the request. Nudm_UEAU must be reachable; the result is error-detail disclosure and service fingerprinting, with no reported data modification or interruption.
