Reflected XSS via unsanitized RepoCard repo prop
Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026
Reflected XSS in DenPiligrim repostat before 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser via the repo prop. During RepoCard's loading state, dangerouslySetInnerHTML interpolates the unsanitized repo value into an HTML string instead of using JSX escaping. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled input to repo and a user to load the affected view, enabling script execution within that application's origin.
