Unauthenticated database access via AI Agent endpoint
Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026
Missing authentication in Parse Platform Parse Dashboard 7.3.0-alpha.42 through 9.0.0-alpha.7 allows remote attackers to read and write data. The POST /apps/:appId/agent handler accepts unauthenticated requests and passes the selected app's master key to agent-driven database operations without authentication or per-app authorization. Exploitation requires the opt-in agent configuration; successful requests can read, modify, or delete any data in a connected Parse Server database.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
