Command gate bypass via prototype-reserved debug overrides
Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026
Prototype pollution in OpenClaw before 2026.2.21 allows remote authenticated users to bypass restricted command gates via /debug set. The runtime override deep merge stores nested proto, constructor, and prototype keys, letting inherited true values satisfy command flags. Exploitation requires authorized access to disabled-by-default /debug set; changes affect only in-memory overrides and clear on restart or reset.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
