Administrator-session script execution via unencoded profile fields
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Stored XSS in SA2BLV SVXportal 2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. admin/update_user.php applies SQL escaping to Firstname, lastname, email, and image_url before storing them, but admin/users.php later renders the values without adequate HTML output encoding. An authenticated account must first save a payload, and an administrator must view the users page; execution is confined to that administrator's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
