Unauthenticated expression evaluation via double evaluation
Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026
Expression injection in affected n8n Form nodes allows remote attackers to evaluate crafted form data in the expression context. A downstream Form node treats an interpolated, attacker-controlled value beginning with = as a fresh expression and evaluates the content twice. Exposure requires an unauthenticated form feeding such a prefixed field; host code execution additionally requires a separate sandbox escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
