Script execution via incomplete HTML tag escaping

Cross-site scripting in SPIP 4.4.0 through 4.4.8 allows remote attackers to run scripts in users' browsers via private-area HTML. The echappe_anti_xss() function is not applied systematically to untrusted input, form, button, and anchor tags before their HTML is rendered. A victim must open affected private-area content; the script can read or alter data available to that session, and the SPIP security screen does not block it.
