Editor-level browser script execution via stored markup
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Stored XSS in Photo Gallery by 10Web 1.8.38 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in visitors’ browsers. Patchstack has not disclosed the affected field or rendering function; the plugin stores attacker-controlled markup and later emits it without adequate sanitization or output escaping. Editor-level access is required, and exploitation depends on another user loading the injected content; exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled.
